About Me
I began running in grade school at Holy Trinity Catholic School though I ran sprints and did the high jump and long jump. At the time I also played basketball and football. Due to an arm injury during the summer of my Seventh Grade year which revealed a bone cyst, I had to quit football. I then graduated from Holy Trinity Catholic School and needed to pick a sport to play in the fall so I could meet my newclassmates at Sparta High School. I decided the night before the first day of practice that I would run cross country. It turned out very well. I ran for four years and it culminated my senior year with my team taking the first runner up position in the LP Division 2 State Finals. I also went All-State in that race.
I also ran track in high school. In my freshman year, I broke a huge barrier in my second race, running a 4:59.57 in the 1600M run. I finished out my freshman season with a personal best of 4:42.11 at the Team State Meet, making me the fastest freshman runner in the race. It was not until my senior year that I finally broke out, and I ran my fastest mile time to date, a 4:19. I also went to Individual State in the 3200 Relay, the 1600M Run, and the 1600M Relay. My relay team took 5th in the 3200 Relay, making us All-State.
I now run Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track for the University of St. Francis. I have earned all conference honors in both my years of XC, and I also qualified for indoor track nationals along with 3 teammates for the Distance Medley Relay.
I maintain this site not only for people to know how I am running, but to practice for my major, Mass Communication Media Arts. I am hoping that as I learn to market myself, i will pick up ideas for how to market for a company.
